    Description

This Orthodox wall tapestry shows the Ascension of Christ: Christ rises on the clouds with open arms, between two angels, while the apostles look up at Him in prayer.

The icon follows the style of Ethiopian Orthodox iconography: bright colors, faces with large eyes and robes richly embroidered with gold.

The tapestry comes in 6 sizes, from 90 x 75 cm to 250 x 150 cm. The small sizes suit a bedroom or the icon corner; the large ones cover a whole wall of the living room or a parish hall. A beautiful gift for a feast, a baptism or a housewarming.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Is your question not listed below? Feel free to contact us via our contact page or by email at contact@boutique-orthodoxe.com. A member of our team will get back to you within 24 hours.

    Which size should I choose?

For a bedroom or the icon corner, take 90 x 75 cm or 150 x 100 cm. To cover a large wall, choose 200 x 150 cm or more.

Do the photos show the tapestry only?

No: the string lights and brick wall in the photos are just staging. You receive the tapestry only.

    Why this style of icons?

These designs follow Ethiopian Orthodox iconography, known for its bright colors and its inscriptions in Ge'ez script.

    Is it a woven tapestry?

No, it is an icon printed on fabric, light and easy to hang on the wall.
