Icon of Archangel Michael — Faithful Reproduction of a Monumental Hagiography

This hagiography is a faithful, scaled-down reproduction of a monumental work painted by our workshop: an icon of Archangel Michael standing three meters tall and two and a half meters wide, considered the largest portable icon of Archangel Michael in northern Greece.

The original was created for the Church of Saint Eleftherios and Saint Panteleimon in Daphnonas, Xanthi, where its reception ceremony took place on September 9, 2023. This scaled-down version, available in 35 x 45 cm, faithfully reproduces the original composition: the Archangel in full-body depiction, armed with sword and shield, embodying the vigilance and protection proper to his role as leader of the heavenly hosts.

The background combines 24-karat gold, reserved for the halo and certain sacred elements, with a colored background that highlights the armor and detailed wings of the archangelic figure.

Made to order, each reproduction is hand-painted and preserves the detail precision of the monumental work it derives from, at a scale suited to a home or personal prayer corner.
