Enamel Orthodox Blessing Cross — IC XC NI KA Crucifix, 17cm, Gold or Silver Color

This Orthodox blessing cross takes the shape of the hand crosses a priest uses to bless the faithful, who kiss it at the end of the service. At its center, Christ crucified in relief stands out on the cross, beneath the title of the Cross.

Its four trefoil ends each hold a medallion: IC XC NI KA, "Jesus Christ conquers". White flowers run over a background of colored enamel, between beaded borders, and continue down the whole rounded handle.

It is made of enameled metal in a gold or silver color finish, with burgundy, bright red, navy blue, sky blue, green, black or white enamel. At 17cm long, 7.5cm wide and 95g, it sits well in the hand and belongs in a prayer corner, near the icons. It makes a welcome gift for a baptism, an ordination or a patronal feast.
